Italian Digital Art Experience: Creativity, Immersiveness… Made in Italy
Art often conceals forms of professionalism, technology and operational planning that seem to be in antithesis. In reality, if we reflect on this process, we realize that it is precisely the genius loci in a scenario of widespread creativity that characterizes our country, which has always been able to give its best precisely in this pouring of creativity and industriousness, of technique and style.
It is no coincidence that it is precisely from this fabric that Made in Italy is generated, the value of which is recognized on a planetary level, even today at the time of a technological globalization that affects every sphere of professional, productive and industrial activities.
To enhance in the world the Italian digital creative studios distinguished by their ability to innovate, experiment and develop new forms of expression and communication, MEET in collaboration with Bright Festival presents an anthological exhibition of works collected in a traveling project commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
To support Italian talents and creativity, from July 6 to August 31, MEET Digital Culture Center – Fondazione Cariplo, and La Farnesina, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will present Italian Digital Art Experience, an exhibition itinerary that builds on the Farnesina Digital art Experience Project that has already toured Europe in collaboration with the Brigth Festival.
“One of the goals of MEET is to promote digital talent and creativity. When I saw the works of creative studios brought to so many cities around the world thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I thought it would be important to make these extraordinary realities known to the Italian public as well.“- says Maria Grazia Mattei, Founder and President of MEET. “The Italian landscape of digital creativity is so rich that it deserves to be explored and appreciated more and more widely. That of communication and event production is an economic and cultural universe that is being renewed and that increasingly makes use of new digital languages. We have discovered that we have creative and professional resources in this area as well, of a high professional level.”
The project envisages its epicenter in the Immersive Room, where a collective work was created by more than twenty Italian studios, including Antaless Visual Design, Mou Factory, OOOPStudio and Woa Creative Company, comes to life: a veritable map of digital visions made in Italy from North to South.
The detail of the interventions, and more in-depth exposure of the studios representing realities of excellence at the Italian and international level will be the cue for new posts with reflections and considerations on the role of creativity in Italian companies.
