George Brown College and MEET. A strong tie on education

George Brown College

President of  Toronto’s George Brown College Anne Sado has addressed a message to MEET in the occasion of its virtual opening. George Brown College (GBC) is the official strategic partner of MEET for education and research. GBC and its Institute without Boundaries have played an important role in bringing the digital cultural center to life, from collaboration on business planning to hosting numerous charrettes to engage the local community of Milan.

On January 2021 GBC will launch two post graduate certificate programs with MEET: Game Design and Interactive Media Management, effectively creating a satellite George Brown Campus in Milan. For that we’ve created specially equipped rooms at MEET that allow for real time collaboration between groups for teaching, learning and ideation. Students of these programs will head to Canada to complete their thesis projects as well as work-integrated learning opportunities.
