William Myers | Meet the Media Guru

— As the coronavirus nCoV continues to spread with new cases reported in the Lombardy region, the Meet the Media Guru event with William Myers has been postponed. —

William Myers is the first guest of Meet the Media Guru in 2020. A curator, writer and teacher, as well as author of the volumes Biodesign: nature, science and creativity (2018) and Bio Art: Altered Realities (2015), Myers is among the top international experts on the relationship between art, science and creativity.

At MtMG, Myers will focus on the now inevitable cross-disciplinary collaboration between knowledge and on the hybridization of apparently distant sectors and professionals such as those of researchers, biologists, digital artists and creatives, engineers and neuroscientists. The lecture is scheduled on Wednesday 4 March at 19.30 at the Auditorium of the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo Da Vinci (via San Vittore 21, Milan). 

The meeting with William Myers is part of MEET’s activities as a Regional S + T + Arts Center whose task is to deepen the exchange between science, technology and arts in order to promote inclusive innovation on behalf of the S + T + program Arts promoted by the European Commission.

MEET’s main partner is Intesa Sanpaolo. The digital culture center is also supported by Artemide, Fiera Milano Foundation and Sigest.
