About Renaissance Dreams by Refik Anadol
Due to technical problems beyond our control, the MEET Immersive Room is currently unusable. The work Renaissance Dreams by Refik Anadol will be accessible again as soon as the technical problems are resolved. We will notify you as soon as possible of the new dates for viewing the Immersive work created especially for the Center by Anadol. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Fortunately, the cultural operation with Grande Brera on the occasion of the opening of Palazzo Citterio still stands. A fragment of Anadol’s work can still be visited in the large hall on the ground floor.
“With great pleasure we accepted the request from Grande Brera to have Refik Anadol in this significant opening. With this cultural operation MEET, together with the National Museum of Digital Art, underlines the goal of wanting to reach the maximum dissemination and communicative power of digital art, so relevant on the contemporary scene,” specifies Maria Grazia Mattei, founder and president of MEET. “A request that we were able to satisfy thanks to the availability of an important friend like Anadol, which among the first, creating a site-specific work for the spaces of MEET, believed in us.”
Convinced that it is precisely in these forms of collaboration, including institutional ones, that today’s culture must be founded, we invite you to visit Palazzo Citterio and then return to us, to MEET, to admire the work in its entirety and even (re)read Anadol with the contemporary gaze of one who interprets the languages of art with a sensitivity to the future and the ability to always look at the past as a value.
