Noire | Immersive Experience at MEET
Based on the historical essay of the same name by Tania De Montaigne, Noire is a 30-minute immersive installation using HoloLens (Augmented Reality headset), which tells the story of Claudette Colvin, who at the age of fifteen refused to give up her seat to a white passenger on an Alabama bus.
A 360° immersive experience that allows the fusion of physical and virtual reality in real time. Presented at the Centre Pompidou, this work is touring the world and for the first time it lands in Italy, pre- cisely at MEET. It is a hybrid event, actors and viewers experience the story in real time inside the Immersive Room, as if inside a the- atre of a new sign. Noire is an example of how it is possible to relive stories in real time as if we were actors on stage.
Directed by Stéphane Foenkinos and Pierre-Alain Giraud based on the work of Tania de Montaigne: Noire, la vie méconnue de Claudette Colvin
