Three Gurus will be guests at the House of Switzerland in the spring, and other Swiss innovation personalities will be presented at MEET in the fall.

For the second meeting, we meet Claudio Tessone, Professor of Blockchain and Distributed Registry Technologies at the Department of Computer Science, University of Zurich, co-founder and president of the UZH Blockchain Center.

Together with his team and a large international network, he has long studied blockchain as a paradigm of socio-economic complexity.

What are the principles that drive these systems? Why can we trust them to work? Although created to develop new decentralized economies where anyone can participate and contribute, do they really work that way?

Professor Tessone presents the results of his extensive research in the intersection of data science, economics, and computer science.
