Artificial Dreams | A Journey in Art and Technology
Discover ‘Artificial Dreams’ at MEET, an exhibition that offers an experience where art meets artificial intelligence. Through four installations by innovative artists, the visitor is guided through an experience that stimulates the senses and provokes questions about the boundaries of traditional creativity. This is not just a visual exhibition, but an interactive journey that will allow you to perceive art in a new and engaging way.
The exhibition includes four installations from advanced European research projects such as S+T+ARTS and FREEYOU Next. These projects involve young creatives from Italy, Spain, Belgium and Portugal, offering an interdisciplinary dialogue with artificial intelligence and addressing ethical issues and digital transformations. The works created by the students offer a fresh and innovative perspective on the future of digital creativity.
Discover the installations:
Human in The Loop by Roberto Beragnoli
At a time when technology and art are converging, this initiative presents itself as a pioneering exploration of the symbiotic relationship between human artists and Artificial Intelligence. The project explores the intricate dialogue between human-inspired creativity and the innovative visions proposed by Artificial Intelligence.
Fake News Lab by Kasper Jordaens
It is an installation based on the conversation between two AIs and the visitor. It aims to help understand how fictitious images and texts are created. In response to current events, the project presents visitors with the latest acquisition of the Brussels police to ensure security in the capital: smart cameras that automatically recognise people.
A Feeling Machine by Mayte Gómez and Carlos Alcántara
This project brought young people together for a unique experience of participatory creation and reflection on digital transformation. Winners of the Fundación Zaragoza Ciudad del Conocimiento (FZC) call for digital artists.
Mayte and Carlos explored with students the ways in which technology shapes the way we communicate, interact, create and consume.
Entangled Cities by STANZA
The project explores a future in which cities are governed by algorithms, creating co-creation systems that act as an autonomous ‘consciousness’. It monitors real-time interactions between humans and non-human agents, questioning how cities can become self-governing through open data. Artworks develop speculative scenarios on Artificial Intelligence and its manifestations, communicating data on air quality, social relations and mobility. In this context, data becomes the main medium, reworking human history and suggesting a future in which machines will influence decisions and culture, interweaving art, science, politics and human relations.
