Noah Raford is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Futurist-in-Chief of the Dubai Future Foundation. He was also a former advisor on futures, foresight, and innovation in the UAE Prime Minister’s Office.
Noah helped establish the UAE’s first national foresight unit, helped established the Dubai Future Foundation and the Museum of the Future, and is part of a team that identifies emerging opportunities, strategic partnerships, and future initiatives for the Government of Dubai.
He is currently responsible for overseeing the Dubai Future Foundation’s thought leadership activities, including its design research, trend analysis, policy studies and overall strategic direction. He also oversees many of the Foundation’s initiatives and projects, such as the Museum of the Future, the Dubai Future Academy, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Accelerated Research, and others. He lectures and speaks widely to a large variety of audiences around the world.
Noah completed his PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), his masters at the Bartlett School of Architecture, and his undergraduate degree at Brown University. He has served as a member World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, a Senior Research Fellow at the London School of Economics, a fellow at the Bartlett School of Architecture, and as a member of the International Futures Forum.
